Safety measures for petrochemical maintenance
The project leader should inspect and implement the scaffolding (ladder, hanging basket) used for high-altitude operations Whether safety belts, ropes, and other equipment are safe, and arrange on-site guardians for the operation; If necessary, warning lines should be set up.
Operators should wear personal protective equipment as required, be familiar with the work content, especially the opinions signed by relevant departments:
When using seat belts, follow the Regulations on the Administration of Seat Belt Use;
Implement ladder work in accordance with the Regulations on Safety Management of Ladders;
When using scaffolding, follow the Safety Management Regulations for Scaffolding Use;
Refer to the Regulations on Safety Management of Lifting Equipment to carry out operations inside the basket or hanger.
When working at heights, it is not allowed to work vertically up and down at the same time
2. Avoid high-altitude work at night. Night high-altitude operations must be approved by relevant departments, and the person in charge of the operation should conduct a risk assessment, develop safety measures, and ensure sufficient lighting.
3. Working at heights is not allowed to be carried out in severe weather such as wind above level 6, thunder and lightning, rainstorm, heavy fog, etc., which may affect vision and hearing or ensure personal safety.
During high-altitude operations during petrochemical maintenance:
All guardians should regularly contact high-altitude workers and are not allowed to engage in other work, let alone resign without authorization;
If there is an abnormal situation in the production system, the high-altitude workers should be immediately notified to stop working and evacuate the site;
If there are significant changes in the working conditions or environment, a new High Altitude Work Permit must be obtained.
After the work is completed, clean the site and do a good job of on-site cleaning and hygiene.
